Royal Gaming Table
This was the most challenging designs and builds I have done to date. The client wanted a 10’ x 10’ circular table top with a 6’ inner circle. They also wanted a way to enter the inside of the table. I used 10/4 African Mahogany for the table top and milled it down to a final thickness of 2 inches. for the table entrance I went with with a drop leaf using a rule joint. To strengthen the joints on both sides I added bow tie inlays using Jatoba (Brazilian cherry). the legs are solid steel and are set in the bottom with a routed profile along with threaded inserts.
