Hi! As you probably guessed from the name above, my name is Chris Adams. I am 39 years old. I grew up in Windham, NH and I currently live in Epping, NH with my amazing wife and rock of our family, Theresa, and my beautiful 9 year old daughter, Reilly.

I started woodworking as a hobby in 2019 after building a dining room table to save us $4,000 from buying one off of Wayfair. I had only a few tools and I had no idea what I was doing. All I knew was I loved it. 2 years and an incalculable amount of mistakes later, my hobby has grown in to something I never expected. I’ve now completely taken over our two car garage which is now a real workshop and what was at first a hobby has evolved in to a small but growing business.

I try to not settle on a specific style but a lot of my pieces tend to be more mid-century modern or Shaker influenced. The woodworking community on YouTube has taught me more than I even imagined. Some people who have influenced me the most are Chris Solomone (Foureyes Furniture), Mark Spagnuolo (The Wood Whisperer), , and Ishitani Furniture. These guys are all artists and true masters of their craft.

As a woodworker you can always get better and learn something new. While I like to think my skills have progressed a lot over the last year, and they have, the reality is I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of all there is to know about woodworking. This keeps keeps me motivated to get better and pushes me to get outside of my comfort zone.

Before signing off, I want to give a very special thank you to my wife, Theresa. Everything she does for our family allows me to have the free time to build custom pieces and to take woodworking from a hobby to what it has become now. I am incredibly lucky and beyond thankful for what she does each and every day.

Lastly, I want to give me big thank you to all my family and friends. Your support and encouragement means more to me than you’ll ever know.

If you’ve read this far, thank you, seriously. It means a lot.

Thank you!

Chris Adams
