Bird’s eye maple coffee table

This is a commissioned piece I made for a client. I added a set of hardware which allows the top of the table to lift up and down. On the inside of the table I made two storage boxes from a combination of Walnut, Padauk, Hard Maple and Canary Wood. The table and storage boxes were finished using Boiled Linseed Oil to enhance the natural colors and grain of the wood.
