Sapele End Table

This end table is made entirely from Sapele hard wood. It features reversed tapered legs, bottom shelf and single drawer. The drawer box is made from Soft Maple. The top features a large cove profile while the cabinet and legs feature a nice round over profile. The cabinet is made from mortise and tenon joinery with slots cut in the legs and stretchers to fit the side panels on both sides. This piece was finished using a hard wax oil which does a great job of highlighting the beautiful grain of the Sapele.
