Kitchen island
This is the build Iām personally most proud of. The base is built with a combination of Poplar Plywood and Birch hardwood. The cabinets and drawer faces are all built with a raised panel profile. The middle cabinet slides out for both trash and recycling. The top is built from 8/4 Ash. Each board was milled down to a thickness of 1.75 inches and ripped to 6ā wide. To help reinforce the strength of the table top and to keep it flat I used 10mm Dominos in the jointing process.
